Unit 12 is about teaching productive skills. Speaking and writing. Even though writing is usually relegated, both of these skills are equally important and should be integrated into a class. Speaking can be taught through accuracy and fluency activities. These skills will be practiced in different stages of the class. The teacher needs to create exercises that will inspire and encourage the students to feel free to participate.
When we teach writing we need to pay attention to spelling, grammar layout, and punctuation. To practice both skills we can add games in the class.
