Lesson plans are to create an outline of the class for that day, so teachers who have been in the profession for decades, for example, might not need detailed lesson plans, but new teachers should have detailed, but flexible outlines. A lesson plan should consist of learner objectives, personal aims, language points, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, as well as the date and time.
