This unit was another one that I found very interesting in useful, specifically the section on teaching beginners and teaching young learners. The work I am currently looking into involves mostly kindergarten-aged children and they are, for the most part, almost complete beginners, so it was very useful to me to have this overview of the challenges and some methodologies and tools to keep in mind. This unit covered in-depth what it means to teach young learners and beginners (of any age), the challenges that may arise in these kinds of classes, as well as some strategies and methods to make English classes for young learners and/or beginners as fruitful as possible. This unit also covered the difference between a monolingual and a multilingual class, and the pros and cons of each structure. Though I found it less useful to my present interests and needs, the teaching English for business section was also very informative. It included plenty of information on the differences in this type of English class, what to expect, how to prepare, and how this kind of course can generally be structured. This unit also briefly mentioned teaching English one-on-one, and some tools for those types of lessons.
