In this lesson I learned about different tests and how I can incorporate them into my teaching methods. Different tests include the placement tests, progress test, diagnostic test and practice test. For example, a progress test is a test that is given through out the year to measure where the student is and how much course work the student has retained. From the results the teacher can gain knowledge on the strengths and weaknesses of the student; adjust the course work according to the learners needs. External exams, such as the Cambridge Assessment, tests a students proficiency by using a grading system that is independent of internal tests.
