Unit 8 covered future tenses; outlining usages with examples, common mistakes, form, and activate stage teaching ideas. I particularly found the usages sections to be helpful in order to gain a deeper understanding of when certain tenses are used. As a native speaker, I know how to use the various tenses but I did not know the specific reasons why and when they are used. These sections will be useful in explaining students methods for recognizing and employing the tenses of the future. I've always known it, but this unit just reminded me of the fact that present tenses can be used to express future meaning.
