In Unit 4, we learned about present tense and how they were divided down into four section. This unit is very similar in that the past tense also gets divided down into the same four sections, simple, perfect, continuous, and perfect continuous. I remember vaguely this is how I was taught English as well, first the basic with the present, then the adapted versions of the past and future. I don't see much complications with having to teach this to kids in the future either.
