This unit discussed the two productive skills of speaking and writing. It outlined how speaking is extremely vital as well as writing, yet writing in English can be extremely difficult due to similar sounding words and words that sound different but are spelled the same way. The unit went on to discuss the many activities and strategies to teach students these two skills and the best ways to encourage students to want to do these activities as well.
