This unit was extremely helpful it not only offered tangible lesson designs, activities, and a variety of clasroom ideas it also reminded us as esl teachers to make sure to make a learning environment that is safe and welcoming. Students need to feel free to make mistakes and errors and teachers need to correct with positivity and sensitivity alike. I especially was interested in learning about the various methodologies that are used and the positie and negstive aspects of each. It was very clear tnat a variety lf methodogies and techniques are needed. ESA was very helpful when tryign to develop a successful lesson for both the teacher and student.
