I found this unit extremely helpful, as I do not have a degree in education. I had never heard of the different techniques for engagement and found that the standard flow (from engaging to studying to activating) a logical framework to use in order to build lesson plans. I also found the distinction between mistakes and errors important, as I had never considered how much more effective learning might be if the student is able to correct small errors on his/her own.
