This was a focus on the past tenses. It provided some lesson ideas and structures for teaching the students these tenses, and great exercises for focusing on fluency. I have noticed in the non native speakers I listen to, that past tenses is something they struggle with, even after years of speaking English regularly. It is important to have the students memorize the word order, and how the tenses all convey different meanings. Something I do not think about in my day to day, is how native speakers switch easily between the tenses, and this could prove to be a struggle when trying to teach students how to be fluent while they're struggling on one of the tenses.
