Once again an eye opening unit, as native speakers we don't analyse the English language, this unit realy makes you think about how and why we use certain senteces and answers etc. I found particulary interesting reported and direct speach, because as a second language teacher we need to be able to explain the differences and why! With out a good understanding this would be very difficult, again found the teaching ideas very helpful.
