In Unit 6 Past Tense speaks is the grammatical tense in which its role is to place the verb whether an action or situation in past time. This procedure is carried out by simply adding 'd or ed' to the base form of the verb, being the ending point of the verb. For example, She walked to school this morning. This is recognized as a regular verb. However for irregular verbs their past and past participle are formed in the ways. Verbs where the three forms are the same for (e.g. put – put – put)
Verbs in which two of the three forms are the same (e.g. sit – sat – sat)
Verbs in which all three forms are different (e.g. drink – drank – drunk) whilst on the contrary some words can be both regular and irregular verbs. For example burn-burnt-burnt(irregular) burn-burned-burned
