This Unit was extremely helpful to me as a new teacher in order for me to understand the important of a lesson plan and the need of balance between good planning and the need for flexibility. The structure provided is definitely helpful as a starting point and I can see why it would be important to stay flexible as there are many unknowns about how the class will develop and if there are any areas that need more time and work. I can see it would be good to keep track of lessons to be able to look back and track progress.
