How to manage a class? It is a difficult question for a new teacher as they do not have much experience to organize the class and deal with different situations. However, in this unit, it gives us what the class management include, what should we need to pay attention and avoid. For me, voice variation is a big problem as normal I talk very quietly and peacefully. This is the part I need to work hard on. Regarding with the group students, it seems easy to whole class grouping as it is easy control and less effort in preparing the class. However, students need to keep talking to improve their language skills. So, I need to keep that in mind to increase pair work and group work. It is interesting to learn that shouting almost never helps. Normally in most families, most parents would shout to children if they make some mistakes. Here it doesn’t work. I guess shouting doesn’t work either in family or class. As it will scared the children and it will break the bridge of communication. There is other valuable knowledge I also learned in this classroom which I need to put them into future practice. Now, I try to prepare some classes for the children aged from 6-8. I can use the advices in the lesson plan.
