This unit made me really think about the teaching receptive skills, about how generally a person reads and listen , what are the reason we read and listen. it was really useful especially to the part were it says that it is very important to get to know your students and understand what motivates them so that you can choose the topic of the class accordingly to most of their interest. It was extremely useful to find out what might make your students loose their interest and what might help them raise their interest by pre-teaching vocabulary.
