Lesson Planning.
In this Unit I learned how to focus more on a general structure of teaching in a classroom.
How the lesson should be distributed to the students.
How to arrange the classroom, what are the necessary aids and equipment to arrange before the class starts.
How to decide the best form of communication with students when they first enter the classroom and before the class even begins.
I learnt how being strictly correct with the lesson plan is not the best option to use when teaching in the class. Why?
- Because the class is always unpredictable; different issues may occur and the students need the right assist. This is why the teacher has to be flexible enough to react in it and abandon the lesson plan.
However the lesson plan helps in many ways;
For example the lesson plan serves as a target and you can refer to it while the class takes place.
Also
The lesson plan serves as a record of data, so you can analyze the previous class information.In case the teacher gets sick, and gets replaced by another person; the substitute teacher will know how to continue with the class.
Usually the Lesson planning requires Straight Arrow ESA method.
The teacher has to make sure the planning will be adaptable enough so at every critical point the sequences of the Lesson Planning are changed based on the student's needs.
A general synopsis upon lesson planning, that I understood was-being able to create a strategic teaching method that will assist you but inasmuch helps the students consolidate and adapt into the classroom.
