This unit covers classroom management and includes gestures, voice, sitting arrangements, behavior management, TTT and STT, also eye contact, using students' names etc. I consider rapport very important. Teachers create a connection with students, which help students learn. The voice should vary according to the activity or lesson presented. Sitting arrangements helps avoid behavior issues, which should be taken care of as soon as the teacher notices it. There should be a balance between TTT and STT. Students should have plenty of opportunities to practice the target language in order to succeed as a language learner. In a classroom where students feel safe and comfortable, students succeed.
