Unit 9 discusses how to write an effective lesson plan. Lesson planning is an important component of teaching. Proper classroom planning will keep teachers organized and on track while teaching, thus giving them the chance to teach more, manage less and therefore help students reach learning objectives. Unit 9 goes over the decisions involved in planning a lesson such as, learning objectives, content to be taught, the level of the students, tasks to be presented, resources needed, etc. Before reading this unit, I was a bit confused on how to approach writing a lesson plan but now I'm confident on writing an effective lesson plan.
