In teaching the language an effective teacher must learn the basic grammar the is commonly taught in teaching foreign language. The first one, the modals auxiliary verbs-are used before other verbs to add meaning to the main verb. It can use to express different ideas like, obligations, possibilities, permissions, advice etc. The next are the passive voice and active voice, both sentences have same meaning but the focus is different. Active voice focuses on the agent of the sentence while the passive voice focuses also on the subject but the doer of the action is much less important or doesn’t appear. The last one are the Phrasal verbs they are the multi-verbs consist of a verb plus one or two particles. A particle maybe a preposition or an adverb, or an adverb plus a preposition. Two different words but one meaning.
