This unit opened my mind to the past tense. I did not realize (even though I speak fluent English) that there were 4 different types of past tenses. The lesson highlighted the fact that it is not very common to use two of the tenses and I could not truly recall a time I used some of the tenses discussed in this lesson. I am concerned it will make it slightly harder to teach but I am grateful for the activity examples presented in this lesson to help teach.
