This unit covered modal auxiliary verbs, the passive voice in detail, as well as a brief overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. The unit covered form, usage, common mistakes/errors, and classroom teaching examples. What stands out the most from the unit is phrasal verbs, and how challenging the multi-word verbs might be for students. I've learned that I should keep track of the phrasal verbs that have been taught and try to use them naturally during uncontrolled practice/ conversation to get the students used to them.
