This unit was particularly challenging for me as a native speaker. I was forced to analyze the different tenses and "explain" when I would use what tense. The hard part was not the grammar per se, because that comes naturally. but learning to explain the rules of usage. The examples were very useful in helping me understand the correct usage, but it took some time to really sink in. This will be a lesson I will revisit.
