In this unit we looked at conditionals and reported speech. We looked at the different forms of conditionals, with examples, and the ways in which students may make errors, and we looked at reported speech. I did not expect conditionals and reported speech to be so complicated. The number one thing I have taken from this unit is that I must teach these grammar points carefully, slowly, and make sure not to confuse them with one another, or unintentionally use exceptions to the rules - in order to minimize student confusion.
