I wish there was more information on making tests. I don't have much interest in the external tests and that consisted of 3 out of the 9 lesson teaching plans as well as two of the questions for this test. Would have much rather had more examples of how to make tests to more efficiently test and gauge my students understanding. I felt like half of this was useless. I was at least hoping to get more information on speaking tests, as those are always a time consuming endeavor. I feel like this unit needs to be remade. Knowing the test types and what they test for is all good, but that's very based on situation. Would be much much more helpful to actually learn something I know I can use. Like length of tests, how to design questions more efficiently, when to specifically avoid or use question types. For instance, how long should a given period be between tests? how many topics should it include? how should you assess the content covered? Which type of question should you use for which types of points? Like... thank you. I know what a test is... I've been taking them all my life (including right this second). Now, teach me how to make a good one.
