This unit has been so difficult for me to understand and to apply. As a non-native speaker pronunciation is a pain for me to teach and even to learn. During the 10 years I studied English, not only in my country but also abroad, I didn't have the opportunity to properly learn the different areas of English pronunciation, so I already know that once I feel a little bit more confident I will be coming back to this unit to get some of the materials taught: intonation, stress, sound joining, articulation are things that both native speakers and fluent English speakers take for granted, but usually have no idea how to teach.
Some of the resources and activities proposed during the unit regarding those different areas are just brilliant. Difficult and a little heavy but useful and necessary.
