This unit differentiates the future tenses and other tenses that can refer to a future time. Each tense has it's own uses. One thing I am struggling with is the difference between using "am going" and "will". I feel like most of the situations where you try to differentiate are interchangeable. For example: the example "I think it is going to rain later!" works perfectly fine as "I think it will rain later!" Let's say the argument for difference is seeing a dark cloud on the horizon. This sentence would include the evidence, but still works either way. "Because of that cloud, I think it is going to rain later."and "Because of that cloud, I think it will rain later." I guess I don't completely understand this unit and will have to inquire with a tutor. To me, there seems to be no reason to differentiate past "predictions".
