As I learned about phonetics, it was a good time to review the things that I studied when I was sophomore and junior in university. However, I think it is sure that the contents of phonetics are still difficult for me to study. While learning this unit, I felt that there is not much intonation in Korean. However, in English, if a speaker use the intonation slightly differently, the message that the speaker intends to convey can be delivered to the listener in a totally different sense. So this is why I think English is a very complicated and difficult language.
