This unit was about modal verbs, relative clauses, the passive voice and phrasal (transitive and intransitive) verbs. I feel that I now have a better grasp on the actual rules for the passive voice in order to teach it because I had never studied them formally before. I have learned the difference between a defining and a non-defining relative clause, which is not something I had been aware of previously and put the grammar point more into perspective for me. I learned why some phrasal verbs are set up the way they are - i.e. because they are type 1, 2 or 3.
