Reading is just as important as listening and cannot be executed without full concentration. Both these receptive skills when mastered and practiced regularly will give students a confidence booster and texts/videos/dialogues can be extended. The importance in using receptive skills in all stages of the lesson is important, such that study, activate or engage stages can incorporate one or both aspects of receptive skills.
