Lesson 17 talks about equipment and teaching aids for the classroom. There are some teaching aids that will be more readily available than others, cassettes are not widely used anymore and harder to find than youtube videos. Boards, whether it be white board or chalk, is a great tool to have in the classroom because they are inexpensive and easy to use. However, the teacher will have their backs to the students, making it harder to engage the class. Projectors are a good solution to that, but harder to come by and difficult to set up. Videos are a great way to keep students engaged in the lesson, and the visual/verbal combination it provides can be helpful. Computers can be very helpful if they are available in the classroom. It is good to switch up the teaching aids to keep the class interested and engaged.
