Teaching pronunciation is very difficult for teachers to teach. I feel that some students will have a hard time to do intonation when learning a new language. However, it is a big part of learning the language to reflect feelings and emotions. You can understand a lot more and you can have personal reactions. Phonology is the study, science, analysis and classification of the physical sounds. You cannot understand a new language without knowing the whole sound system of a language. I thought the place of articulation and manner of articulation were very helpful in learning how each sound was formed.
