I thought that the continuous and the first half of the lesson was very clear and easy to understand the second part of the lesson, using reported speech I found slightly confusing. I had to revert back to what would I say, rather than trying to think if it were past perfect continuous or present continuous. So I would think about what would I say in this context and then cork out what grammatical tense I had used and then check myself on the graph provided on page 7.
