In this unit, we get a clearer idea of the techniques and approaches to introducing new vocabulary, language structures, and teaching language functions to new students of different levels. The unit helps to map a teaching plan based on the ESA model, while allowing us to experiment with different ESA forms like straight line, patchwork, or boomerang. The lesson ultimately helps us understand the level of flexibility that a teacher has when introducing new words, grammatical structures, or language functions to his/her students.
