This unit goes over several types of learning groups that can be encountered while teaching EFL, with different levels of knowledge about the English language and the different desires of what they want by learning English. In this unit, I have learnt about various groups of learners I could be teaching in the future from children with no experience to adults wanting to learn English for business. I have learnt that to teach children I have to make sure to keep lessons interesting, as well as to understand the needs of each student of any learning group to ensure that they are learning effectively. This along with the helpful do's and don'ts, what a needs negotiation session looks like, and what to keep in mind in general when teaching these groups will help me be a better overall educator when teaching EFL.
