I feel that the Teaching Receptive Skills (reading and listening) are very important in capturing the interest and sustaining it with the students, ultimately coming to a conclusion with by the students own ability to show what and how much they have learned, sharing their knowledge with the rest of the class. I have always gone the extra mile to choose topics of interest for my students and have found it very useful and stimulating for my students. I would like to have more practice with the Patchwork ESA in my classroom. In the video, it spoke first of Productive Skills and the various skills grouped within it. I found the video to be very educational.
Again, some of these questions were rather tricky... especially the one about the Astrological sign. It can be said that scanning over an astrological page and reading only "your" sign is a show of "scanning skills" which I have decided to choose after some deep consideration, however I have my serious doubts about it again, as the question appears tricky. That being said, the other four answers mentioned quickly reading or listening... something that seemed adverse to the meaning of "scanning". Also, the question 2 about the stock exchange was another tricky question. The pointer here for me were the words "lookin" versus "Listening. Again, we shall see once I submit my test. Thank you.
