In this unit I have learnt about the different types of evaluations used for different purposes. Placement tests are used to determine a student's ability and motivation before starting a course. A progress tests can give an indication to the teacher of what language the students remember and what should be reviewed. Finally, a brief explanation is given of the different schools and their purposes.
