As a continuation from the receptive skills in the previous unit,this unit helped to put together why all skills are important.Writing and speaking are quite useful in learning a Language as these will be used to communicate,and to actually show that the students are able to use what they have learnt in reading and listening otherwise there wouldn't be no point,in my view to learn a language and not use it practically because languages are there so we can express ourselves in words,be it spoken or written,there is a point you will need to put a message across to the next person and it is best to learn to use the language.I also learnt the difference in fluency and accuracy in teaching productive skills,what roles the teacher and students pkay respectively.I also learnt how to encourage and motivate students to speak as they may feel shy or not so confident.
