This unit, following the prior unit, focuses on the other two skills necessary for language learning: the productive skills of speaking and writing. The lesson was broken into two sections, each devoted to one skill. The unit also introduced the difference between accuracy and fluency, and when to emphasize which. In learning a language, productive skills can be more difficult and can require more confidence in the students. I learned various ways to interact with the students to effectively teach and elicit such skills.
