This unit focused on how to manage the classroom--setup, building rapport with students, discipline, etc. As someone who has only tutored with students one-on-one, I have been anxious about running a classroom with many students. This unit really helped to break down what aspects of classroom management to plan beforehand and adjust throughout the class or after some experience. The unit also explained what factors may contribute to decisions I will need to make about classroom layout among other things.
