This unit was very hard and confusing for me. However once I slowed down and really tried to work everything out piece by piece it became much much easier. I enjoyed the phonetic exercises and having to sound everything out in order to grasp what was being asked of me. I could see how the phonetics would be particularly helpful for a teacher to grasp. As there are many different sounds that you just naturally understand as a native English speaker. And could be very difficult if you were learning English as a new language.
