I found these videos extremely useful. It was quite obvious that the first lesson was not a good way to teach english as a foreign language for various reasons: the teacher didn't introduce himself or the topic, he seemed disorganized and confused about what to do during the lesson, he was laughing when students got a question wrong, he got angry with the latecomers, he didn't motivate the students by saying "welldone" when they got something right, he was cheking his phone when the students were working, he rushed the students during the activities and seemed impatient. all in all the first lesson was very confusing for teh the students and not helpful.
The second lesson was much better because the teacher introduced himself, he asked everyone's name, he gave compliments when the students got things right, he waited for answers, he made the students work together, he wrote answers up on the board, he explained teh game they were going to play etc. However, I did find a few faults in the second lesson too: The students were not comfortable when they were doing the bingo activity as they were writing on paper whilst standing up, i also found that perhaps the teacher should have corrected some errors in the activate stage so as to help students more, he also didnt wait long enough for everyone to check their answers during the study activity and he could have better explained the study worksheet. But these points aside the second lesson ran much more smoothly, the students weren't too confused although I still feel an initial introduction on the topic of modal verbs in general would have been helpful.
