In unit six we went over the past tense in all four of its forms as well as highlighted many verbs that irregular past tense forms. We discussed past simple form which is used to talk about past actions that happened at a definite time. We discussed past continuous form which is used to talk about past actions that were either interrupted, developed gradually, or began before a definite time and probably continued after. We discussed past perfect form which is used to talk about past actions that were completed before another past action. Lastly, we discussed the past continuous perfect form which is used to talk about longer past actions that had been going on up to the past moment that is being discussed.
