In this unit, I learned about phonology and pronunciation. The IPA has been a weak point for me before. It is listed in my student's dictionaries starting with 2nd yr junior high school students. I will need to spend more time with it, and then familiarize my students with it.
I've also worked a lot on exaggerating intonation and stress during my time as a teacher. Typically, I speak more subtly, but it is important to demonstrate these techniques to the students. I'd like to try the nonsense or humming methods with my students.
