I found this unit extremely helpful in providing ideas and examples of activities that would fit within the ESA model. I learned about the many different teaching models, and I learned how I can use ESA to get the best of multiple models in one lesson. I learned how to mix up the ESA model so that class doesn't become boring or predictable. I will refer back to this unit in the future when I plan a lesson. This unit gives many example activities within the Engage, Study, and Activate stages that teachers can use and adapt to meet different lessons and student levels.
