I truly feel that these videos will be influential in my teaching style as a ESL instructor. Simon's rapport with the class in the second lesson is unmistakably effective in encouraging the students to participate and learn. Simon's demeanor with the classroom is very different in each video and this clearly influences how engaged the classroom is as well. Using examples and non-examples is always a helpful way for me to understand something, so I very much appreciate this unit.
