This unit covers conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are split into zero, first, second, third and mixed conditionals. I had never encountered this kind of categorization before, so it was very useful to learn about. Reported speech refers generally to someone retelling what someone said in the past. The unit also mentions, backshifting, which is when present tenses become past tenses, or time and place expressions change because of the perspective of the speaker from their place or time at the time of reporting.
