This unit addressed the two productive skills, speaking and writing. These skills are used usually for some communicative or creative purpose. This unit taught me that equal importance needs to be placed on both skills; instead of leaving writing activities as homework, it can be helpful for students to do in-class writing activities. While speaking is often students' main focus, writing allows more time for thought and can ultimately help in gaining fluency and accuracy.
