This unit presents an overview of a number of teaching methodologies and approches. It gives the reader the ESA methodology as a model to follow. The unit also describes the importance and the appropriate way to give the students feedbacks by presenting some correction techniques. I found the Engage, Study and Activate approach along with the different ideas for the first and the third stage very helpful and creative. I think putting into practise the ESA method will make my lessons more interactive, fun and therefore more affective. I also found the correction grid very helpful as the using of the codes not only makes the correction clearer but also encourage thehigher-level students to work it out for themseves.
