Our final grammar lesson! In this chapter we talked about three more ways to modify verbs: Modals, the passive voice, and phrasal verbs. And these were accompanied with the standard, "Here's how you teach this stuff." Modals were given with a big chart as to what they are and a suggestion of how to teach things that seem to mean the same thing but don't. Passivity was taught with a different chart telling us how the tenses change, and phrasal verbs were taught by telling us that sometimes, a preposition is suitable to end a sentence with.
