Unit 19 covered various aspects to teaching special groups such as teaching beginners, individual students, children, those who need English for specific reasons, and lastly managing multilingual classes. Distinguishing between these groups is very important because the methodology can vary vastly. Beginner students are taught in the most traditional way but individually a needs analysis, similar to ones that should be distributed to business English learners, for example should also be distributed. I particularily appreciated recieving a proper format for the needs assessment.
